Known for building elaborate and chic camper vans, Jay Nelson has been working with wood and building structures since he was young. Now, he builds tree houses from reclaimed wood. “The hunt [for junk]] has become integral to his building process. “Everything has a story and comes from somewhere… visually, they have a story,” Nelson says.
